Jazz first started yoga at the age of 13, attending weekly classes at the local church hall. Yoga was always "enjoyable", but it wasn't until attending his first Iyengar yoga class in 1979 that the depth of yoga became apparent. In particular the focussing of the mind and learning the art of observation and reflection within the practice of the asanas (poses).  In 1993 he became an apprentice teacher in Iyengar Yoga , becoming certified in 1997. Jazz is committed to his daily practice of yoga and the continual development of his teaching skills and knowledge: participating in ongoing professional development programs with senior Iyengar teachers and attending classes at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, India.
 
Connie Hepworth

Connie has been practising Iyengar Yoga since 1985. In 1992 she began a teacher training apprenticeship with Alan Goode at the Newtown Yoga Room and received her certification as an Iyengar teacher in 1996. Before teaching yoga Connie worked as a physiotherapist for 16 years and also has a Diploma in Homoeopathy. She is dedicated to the practice of Yoga and continues to develop her practice and teaching with ongoing study with senior Iyengar teachers in Australia as well as at the Iyengar Institute in Pune, India.
Clare Marshall (formerly Clare Osmond-Dreyer) 

Clare started practicing Iyengar yoga when she was 15, some 15 years ago. She quickly became passionate about yoga and and the desire to share this passion led her down the teaching path. After completing her Teacher Training with Alan Goode, Clare acquired her Introductory Level 2 teaching certificate. Along with a commitment to her daily practice and continual Professional Development with Alan Goode, Clare has also attended classes at the Iyengar Institutute in Pune with the Iyengar family.
